AFTERCARE ADVICE
Eyelash extensions
Do not allow water to contact eyelashes for the first 2 hours prior to treatment
For the first 2 days do not wash eyes with water or steam the face. Avoid swimming and use of jacuzzis, steam rooms and saunas
Do not apply mascara to the adhesive area as this could weaken the bonding of your lashes
Use only oil-free makeup remover (apply in downward motion with cotton bud, rubbing side to side can cause bonds to loosen
Do not curl lashes
Most importantly, DO NOT rub eyes!

Tinting
Do not touch treated area directly after treatment (although we will do our upmost to remove all of the product, slight residue may still remain)
Avoid sunbathing 24 hours prior (this could cause tint to fade)
Avoid applying perfume based products to the treated area 24 hours prior to treatment
Avoid use of swimming pools saunas and steam rooms 24 hours prior to treatment

Manicure/Pedicure
Please always allow adequate time for polish to dry before leaving the salon
Always wear gloves to protect your perfectly manicured hands from chipping whilst performing any household or work related chores
Apply a top coat to your mani/pedi every few days to prolong the life of your varnish (cannot be applied to IBD Gel)
Always use hand cream!

Waxing
Avoid wearing tight clothing prior to treatment
Avoid exfoliation for 48 hours prior to treatment. You can then use a shower poof every 2-3 days to gently exfoliate the skin to avoid pesky ingrowing hairs
Do not apply perfumed products to the area for 24 hours prior to having treatment
Avoid exercise that may cause treatment in waxed area
Avoid shaving between treatments
Avoid sunbathing, sun beds, hot baths, saunas and steam rooms for 48 hours after treatment

Facials
Although your skin may feel superiorly soft after your facial, avoid touching the area as this could cause redness
Avoid applying makeup for 6 hours prior
Drink plenty of water (we recommend 6-8 glasses daily)
Avoid sunbathing 24 hours prior to treatment
Avoid direct heat from hot baths, sunbeds, swimming, saunas and steam rooms 24 hours prior
Avoid exfoliating the area for 72 hours prior to facial
Continue to cleanse, tone and moisturise to lock in any moisture, remove makeup and to keep skin soft, clean and supple.

Massage
Drink plenty of water to help flush out toxins
On the date of treatment avoid eating heavy/spicy meals prior to treatment
As oily as you may feel, try to avoid showering/bathing directly after your massage (allow 6-8 hours for the oil to penetrate the skin to gain optimum results)
Avoid saunas/steam rooms
Avoid direct exposure to sunlight and do not use sun beds following the use of oils
Do not smoke or drink alcohol 24 hours prior to treatment as a massages aim is to detoxify the body (smoking and alcohol are counter-productive as they increase the level of toxins in the body!)
